Quality, Customer Service, and Client Experience
Here at 936 Pilates & Barre, we believe Pilates is for EVERYONE. We are committed to a transparent cancellation and fee policy that is instituted fairly, for both clients and the studio. Click on each tab to read more about our specific policies.
Our cancellation policy is based upon our goal of providing quality Pilates & Barre instruction to everyone in our 936 community that would like to join us. As our classes have grown more popular, we want to make sure we are giving everyone a full shot to experience what we have to offer.
Cancel 8 hours before the start of class for a full refund to be returned in the form of a Momence credit or a credit returned back to your previously purchased class package or membership credit/package. “Not feeling great? Cancel before 8 (hours).”
There is no penalty besides loss of credit for cancellations that happen within 4-8 hours of class start time. However, no shows and cancellations 4 hours before start of class will incur a $5 late fee after the second occurrence, slate is wiped clean monthly. “After 4 (hours), costs you 5 (dollars).”
The studio has the right to charge a $10 penalty, in addition to losing a class credit, if applicable, to late cancels (4 hours) or no-shows for fully booked classes, regardless of if it is the first offence.
Pilates Parties are structured for a group celebrating anything worth celebrating, and is an opportunity to have Pilates instruction while you socialize, snack, and party. Booking your Pilates Party entitles you to three hours in the building. 90 minutes of this time is teacher-instruction.
A Reformer Pilates Party includes access for 12 people total. All attendees must sign the waiver and pay for their spot regardless of participation. Additional guests beyond 12 incur a $25 charge.
Parties require a $50 non-refundable deposit. Parties canceled ≤ 12 hours before start time will be charged 50% of booking price.
Memberships auto renew on the date of purchase. When payment information is invalid, reruns will be scheduled every 2 days, with a $5 rerun fee upon the third rerun.
Memberships are not to be shared besides with your spouse. Class packs or classes included within a membership do not roll over and may not be shared.
You must give written notice via email to 936pilates@gmail.com or info@936pilates.com seven (7) days before your membership is set to renew.
Texts or Social Media direct messages will be directed to send written notice via email for tracking purposes.
All requests given <7 days before renewal will be scheduled for the next billing cycle. Memberships that charge will not be refunded.
You may freeze your membership 3 times a year for 1 month each time. Cancellation requests must be received 7 days before renewal.
When a spot opens, the first person on the waitlist will be texted or emailed. Respond within 10 minutes to reserve your spot.
If class starts in less than 120 minutes, notifications go to everyone on the waitlist and the fastest responder gets the spot.
